Our introduction to raising livestock came in 2012 with the addition of three chickens, but it didn’t take long for our flock to expand. We raise chickens on our micro farm to provide eggs, meat, manure, and to hatch out new chicks. Margoat Lane is home to a variety of chickens. We have large dual-purpose breeds as well as bantam breeds. Our egg production tends to slightly outpace our consumption, so you can sometimes find our organic eggs available at the farm stand.
